A moisturizer doesn’t need a complicated routine to earn its place on your bathroom shelf. If panthenol is already on your wish list, PURITO Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream deserves a closer look. The interesting part is not just the percentage on the label, but the formula around it—and the choice of an everyday application or an optional extra layer at bedtime.
Our take: we’d shortlist PURITO for a panthenol-focused routine when niacinamide is also welcome in the formula. If named ceramides are your priority instead, ANUA is the more direct alternative. That’s a useful starting point before getting drawn into a competition between percentages.
Look beyond the 10% headline
PURITO declares 10% panthenol and lists squalane, niacinamide and bamboo extract in this 100 mL cream. We’d consider that combination as a whole rather than shopping for the largest number.
The supporting ingredients matter to the decision, too. A panthenol percentage doesn’t describe the rest of a cream, and two products with the same headline ingredient needn’t be interchangeable. Here, niacinamide gives you a concrete point of difference from the ANUA alternative.
Niacinamide is worth noticing here. If it’s something you want included, that makes PURITO a relevant contender. If you prefer to leave it out, jump to the ANUA comparison below rather than trying to talk yourself into a formula that doesn’t match your preferences.
One cream, two ways PURITO suggests applying it
For ordinary use, PURITO directs you to spread a moderate amount over the face and neck, then pat gently.
The brand also offers a separate bedtime approach: use two to three times your usual amount across two layers, allowing the first to absorb before adding the second.
The important distinction is that the second approach is an option, not the basic instruction rewritten as a bigger dose. You don’t need to make the layered version your default just because it appears on the product page. Our preference would be to start with the ordinary application; keep the additional step as a choice rather than another nightly task.
There’s also no fixed waiting time to memorize. The direction is about letting the first layer absorb, not setting a timer. That makes the instruction easier to follow without turning a straightforward moisturizer into an elaborate ritual.
Keep the rest of your routine in perspective
PURITO’s FAQ places the cream after active-containing products and recommends patch testing when introducing it.
Read that as the brand’s suggested placement, not a new routine to buy. There’s no reason to add an active just to give this cream a role. The ordinary application and optional bedtime instructions stand on their own.
If your deciding factor is how it will sit under your particular sunscreen or makeup, that remains a wear question. Our research can help narrow the formula choice; it can’t settle that personal finish preference.
When we’d look at ANUA instead
ANUA’s 3 Ceramide Panthenol Moisture Barrier Cream takes a different ingredient route: the brand states 5% panthenol and names ceramides NP, AP and EOP. Niacinamide is not named in its published US list; check the current package if that distinction matters to you.
We’d choose ANUA when those named ceramides are a deliberate part of the brief. PURITO remains the one we’d investigate when its combination better fits your preferences. Neither concentration establishes which finished cream will work better for your skin.

Our buying take
PURITO is worth keeping on a focused moisturizer shortlist—not as an automatic upgrade over everything already in your routine, but as a considered match for the formula preferences above. We like a buying decision with a clear reason behind it.
A quick naming note: PURITO’s current page uses both Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream and Panthenol 10% Barrier Cream. Look for the 100 mL product when opening the listing below; don’t assume every older listing represents the same formula.
